I wanted to fill you in on our experiences at Broker Expo 2023, at the Birmingham NEC yesterday, 12th October, and let me start by saying, it was a blast. This year, we decided to go all out and set up our own stand, and that extra effort was well worth it!
Connecting with old friends and meeting new faces, and potential clients, made this event more enjoyable than it had any right to be. So, let’s dive into what Broker Expo is all about and spill the beans on the intriguing encounters we had.
What Is Broker Expo All About
In case you’re not in the know, Broker Expo is an annual event, and this year it unfolded at the NEC. The primary goal? Bring brokers, intermediaries, product providers, and third parties under one roof to discuss the grand topic of the General Insurance market. It’s the perfect event to talk about the latest products, services, and industry buzz.
Plus, it’s a golden opportunity to mingle with the best and brightest in the business… not to mention sharing a curry with some of them in Solihull. Any excuse really.
Who Crossed Our Path
Thanks to all you people who swung by our booth for a chat. We were over the moon to connect face-to-face with kindred spirits. Apart from the deep discussions about AI that ranged from practical applications to wild philosophical ponderings, we also forged some exciting new connections with potential clients and partners.
Now, you’ve probably heard that the insurance business can be a little conservative. When it comes to embracing new tech, that’s even more so. So, meeting people who share our enthusiasm for the future of insurance is both reaffirming and stimulating.
The Buzz About AI
This year, there was a noticeable excitement around AI, and it wasn’t solely due to the event’s energy. Increasingly, people were keen to discuss the potential of AI with us, which is an exciting indicator of what lies ahead.
